At American Adjusting Group, we understand that the claims process requires much more than just reporting a claim:
• Coverage assessment
• Repair valuation
• Coordinate inspections
• Claim communication and updates
• Timelines and deadlines
• And much more
Public adjusting is a specialty field within the insurance industry, licensed in most states. Public insurance adjusters like us, work directly for policyholders like you, to assist with property claims.
You probably don’t have everyday experience navigating insurance claims.
Wouldn’t it be nice to outsource this to a professional, that does?
Claim reviews are complimentary!
Property claims are complex. We perform a full review of your claim details and policy, to see if we might be able to assist you with your claim.
The full list can be found on our Submit a Claim form.
Generally, we will need the following information, at a minimum:
• A copy of your policy and declarations page, that was in effect on the date of loss for your claim.
• A brief summary of your property’s damage, and (if applicable) your claim's timeline and events.
• Any letters, paperwork, estimates, invoices, photos, reports, and any other information from your insurance company, and any contractors or professionals involved in your claim.
Every claim is different.
Some of the factors that may affect your claim’s negotiation, settlement, and restoration timelines can include when your claim was filed, what type of damage you have, how extensive the damage is, what type of policy you have, claims disputes and delays, and more.
Our number one claim tip is this: because your claim has deadlines, it’s important to review your policy, and address any claims issues promptly.
